I år kommer George A. Romeros nya zombiefilm, Survival of the Dead. Hans senaste Land of the Dead och Diary of the Dead var ju inte något att hurra över direkt, men jag ser ändå fram emot denna. Somnade mitt under Diary of the Dead om jag inte minns fel, så jag får kanske se den en gång till innan jag uttalar mig om den egentligen.

 

Oh My Gore gjorde en intervju med Romero på Filmfestivalen i Venedig. Intressant läsning för dem som vill veta mer om Romeros zombiefilm-framtid.

"For some reason, the publishing world and gaming world and the movie world, they're insisting this is the year of the zombie. I don't get it. I think people are just grabbing onto that, going ‘Let's do a zombie thing.' It's become a popular character, mostly because of video games."
